The privilege of public transport

I've been having a rough couple of days. Emotionally speaking. Some things are going sideways and I feel obliged to comply with duties that are leaving me in something like house arrest.

However, today is Monday. Usually one of my two best days of the week. Mondays are usually short because I have to commute to my therapy sessions. Short, But but "packed" with peace. I'm usually alone, in silence, I have my reflection space, and the commute to and from.

So today, having money on my bus card, having the "excuse" to go to therapy and finally having rode bus eating popcorn feels like a total privilege. And I'm sure re-reading that last sentence only reconfirms what I'm saying.

As of it weren't enough, I arrived with plenty of time to have a nice flat white coffee while I write this post. And I write this because I really enjoy being present and aware of the "small" privileges of life.

Thank you for reading.
