Bear Blog Question Challenge
These are the questions posted by Ava back in January.
I’ll answer them because it’s fun and lets me keep my short daily blogging streak.
1. Why did you make the blog in the first place?
To have a place to express myself.
2. Why did you choose Bearblog?
Burned out from xTwitter I went down the IndieWeb rabbit’s hole and somehow I found Bearblog, read some Herman, tried to make a couple of blogs first, read a lot of blogs, like daily, and I was hooked. I still am.
3. Have you blogged on other platforms before?
Yes, Blogger, Posterous, Tumblr, Wordpress and Collected Notes. I think it was in that order.
4. Do you write your posts directly in the editor or in another software?
I write in Day One because it has the best writing experience for me.
5. When do you feel most inspired to write?
Between work end of day and dinner.
6. Do you publish immediately after writing or do you let it simmer a bit as a draft?
I re-read it for obvious typos and then I publish. So it’s pretty much immediately.
7. Your favorite post on your blog?
This one’s the third but from these 3, I’d say it’s What is the purpose of life?
8. Any future plans for your blog? Maybe a redesign, changing the tag system, etc.?
I’m not “planning” that much these days but I know I’d like to tinker with the design, starting by making this body copy a little bigger.
